Colorado's Most Successful Youth Rowing Program
Our goal is to promote and encourage the growth and development of rowing through quality instruction and training programs for metro Denver area youth, ages 13-18.

Coaches Grace Malacrida, Kati O'Hara and parent volunteers started the Mile High Rowing Club with
several old shells at the Cherry Creek Reservoir on February 20, 2009. Since then, Mile High Rowing has emerged to be
a leading national rowing club, annually qualifying boats for the USRowing Youth Nationals.

We are honored to have had our first Olympian, Kendall Chase, Mullen Grad, Cal Grad,
who represented the United States of America at the 2020 Olympics.

Over 100 Mile High Athletes, Male and Female, have gone on to row at 63 different colleges from Club Teams to Division I programs.
In 2023, we currently have athletes rowing at Alabama, Colby, Fairfield, Holy Cross, Tufts, Texas, UCSD,
USC, Menlo Park, Purdue, Santa Clara, Smith, University of Kansas, and Wellesley.

We wish our 2023 High School Seniors all the best as they choose their colleges.

Jen Dugdale, signed to the University of Texas
Lindsey Troftgruben signed to University of North Carolina
Miles Steinberg signed to Loyola University Maryland

Thanks to dedicated coaches and parents, the club has acquired many new rowing shells and equipment through the years.
Mile High High Rowing would like to thank all those who have dedicated their time and energy into helping the Club
grow into the wonderful organization it is today!
